In NZ using Kiwibank we can export our bank statements. Under the bank account card and the bank statement import i have used the wizard to build an import.

The issue im running into is that my bank exports the lines and the date is in the following format "14-Mar-2023" - screenshot attached.

What would be my format to import these lines as i have tried so many ways e.g. D-MMM-YYYY

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

If you are using Data Exchange Definition with your Import Setup, then mention the date format there.

Data Exchange Definition page -> Line Definition tab -> Column Mapping action -> Transformation Rule

    hi

To import bank statements in Business Central, the date format needs to be in a specific format. By default, the date format in Business Central is set to match the regional settings of your computer. However, if your bank exports the date in a different format, you may need to change the date format in Business Central to match the format used in the bank statement.

To change the date format in Business Central, follow these steps:

Go to the search bar in Business Central and type "User Personalization" and select the corresponding page.

On the User Personalization page, select the "Date and Time Format" tab.

Select the date format that matches the format used in your bank statement. For example, if your bank statement uses the format "14-Mar-2023," you can select "dd-MMM-yyyy" format.

Click "OK" to save your changes.

Once you have updated the date format in Business Central, you should be able to import the bank statement using the Bank Statement Import Wizard. If you are still having issues, you may need to check the other settings in the wizard to ensure that they match the format used in the bank statement.
