Enable Sales Usage Reports

Hi

I'm at a bit of a loss here. I'm trying to following this guide https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/dynamics365/sales/enable-sales-usage-reports, but the option for me is disabled.

I've tried on my production Sales environment and on a brand new Sandbox enivronment. I deployed Sales Enterprise on both and the Sanbox has had 0 changes.

I've confirmed in https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ that my user is in the System Administrators group for both environments.

    If you're having trouble enabling Sales Usage Reports in Dynamics 365 Sales.

    Steps to Enable Sales Usage Reports:

    1. Verify Prerequisites:
      Ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

      • You must have System Administrator or System Customizer security role.
      • The environment must have Sales Enterprise or higher. Sales Professional does not include this feature.

    2. Confirm License & Dataverse Settings:

      • Go to Power Platform Admin Center and check if the Sales Enterprise license is active for the environment.
      • Make sure the Dataverse Analytics setting is enabled. You can confirm this by navigating to Settings > Administration > System Settings > Reporting Tab, and checking if the necessary reporting settings are enabled.

    3. Enable Sales Insights Features:

      • Navigate to App Settings within your Sales Hub.
      • Under Sales Insights Settings, check whether Sales Usage Reports are enabled. If not:
        • Go to App Settings > Advanced Insights Settings and ensure that required analytics and insights settings are turned on.

    4. Check Analytics Configuration:

      • In Power Platform Admin Center, navigate to Environments > [Your Environment] > Analytics.
      • Confirm that usage analytics is enabled for the environment.

      • In the sandbox environment, verify there have been no disabled configurations. Even though it's a fresh environment, ensure that Sales Insights and Reporting are fully set up.

    • Dataverse Sync Issue: If the environments are not reflecting the settings, there might be a lag in Dataverse syncing. Wait a few hours and retry the setup.
    • Re-deploy Sales Insights: If enabling settings fails, uninstall and reinstall Sales Insights from the Dynamics 365 Apps.
    • Clear Cache & Test: Clear browser cache or use a different browser, as cached settings may sometimes prevent updates from applying.

    Next Steps:
