Send Outbound ASN to customer - via email

Hi All,

I am looking for a possibility of sending (outbound) ASN to the customer's email address after the packing slip is posted.

How can we set it up?

    Can someone help? The post above is about "Inbound ASN" not Outbound ASN.

    If you are using a basic warehouse then you may want to consider transmitting the packing slip electronically. There are several ways to do that manually or automatically (Email with a PDF attachment or EDI).

    If you are using an advanced warehouse then you may want to consider transmitting

    • the packing slip electronically manually or automatically.
    • the actual ASN manually or automatically through the load form. 
    • the BOL manually or automatically through the load form.

    Greyman  thank you for your response. I am looking to send only outbound ASN to customer. Could you please explain a bit more what you mean by send "the actual ASN manually or automatically through the load form". I know once we click on "Send ASN" it creates a record on data entity "Outbound ASN". When you say "Load form" are you talking about this data entity?

    I am looking for an option to download the outbound ASN as PDF, is there a way?

    Yes, I am talking about Outbound ASN composite data entity that is populated after clicking on "Send ASN".  You can do a customization and tie this button to packing slip posting for automating the process.

    You cannot generate a PDF for ASN in standard but you can customize it.
