Scheduling, Resource availability and Gantt chart

Hello,

I'm currently trying to set up some resource planning in the project module in Dynamics FO.

I would like to plan my employees and want to see when they are not available. There are two forms for this, resource availability and the Gantt chart. But it seems those two are not connected, but it feels like they should.

I start with creating hour forecasts and then schedule the resources. I can see them in the Gantt chart, but in the Resource availability nothing is visible. And vice versa, if I reserve a resource in the project tab "Project team and scheduling" I don't see it in the Gantt chart.

Am I making a mistake, like a missing setup, or are these two really not connected? I prefer the visuals of the Resource availability forms, but the Gantt chart is based on the forecasts, which are very useful for other purposes. And I would like to avoid to manually copy all the forecasts an recreate them in the "Project team and scheduling" tab.
