Sales and marketing transaction log

In the sales and marketing parameters,  we have this Track deleted transaction set to yes but I don't see any logs details in Database log in System administration inquiries.

Can anyone please help, there is a sales order deleted and we need to find out who deleted it.

    Hy AR01,

it is a little bit confusing, but you can access the transaction log only from "All Customers" or "All contacts" form as all the entities related to customer.

Unfortunately only the data are available who changed something and when, but not the changed data itself.

If you need to see who changed an old value to a new value you need to activate database log for this table at system administration.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi AR01,

Andreas is correct here. There is a difference between database log and the sales and marketing transaction log. Personally, I always disabled the sales and marketing logs and used the database log as this is also capable to handle more tables with a single experience.

However, the transaction log has a bit more functional focus.

    Thanks André Arnaud de Calavon

I don't see Sales and marketing transaction logs while the Track deleted transaction is set to Yes in Sales and marketing parameters. I see date filters but still no data in Transaction log.

I will look into the db logs, thanks for the suggestion.

    Hi,

I also agree with the below comments that you can database log instead of sales and marketing transaction log. Please refer the below link for more details on database log:
