Hi All,
I'm new to Kingswaysoft and would like to perform a merge on duplicate records.
I have configured my package to split and sort the records according to Richnessness Rank and sort accordingly - This works perfectly
However when I try to merge or Merge join these records, both records (Primary & Other) either gets updated or only the one record (depending if i use a Merge Join or Merge)
But none of the records ever gets deactivated
I cannot find where I to specify this deactivation of the particular record...
I have checked under the Merge and Join Merge as well as the CRM destination Mappings but cannot find an option
The action i'm using is Update as the merge only allows you merge Std CRM Entities (and I need to merge custom entities)
Do I need to write code for this or am I missing a setting somewhere :?
I found this on the kingswaysoft site but it doesn't specify the steps in detail :?

finding the duplicate report and Mertgin 2 records are 2 diffrent thing , Mergin / Merg Join are the Standard elements of SSIS package , i belive you want to MERGE 2 account or 2 contacts in CRM record, please confirm if i have undrestood the requirment correctly ?
in that case , you need to know Mer
