Historical Emails

Maybe I am missing something.... We have just switched to D365 Sales CRM and I've setup the server side synchronization for email. Everything is working fine and new emails are properly being associated with the contacts. Now I want to add/import my old (pre-dynamics) emails as well so that they are also associated with the contact. I cannot find out how to do this? With the Dynamics App for outlook I can only do one email at the time which does not work. Is there a way to add multiple emails?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Mike,

You can process old emails by setting the "Process email from" date in email server profile. For this follow the below steps:

Log into CRM-->Advanced setting-->email configuration-->email server profiles-->open the email server profile you are using-->set the below shown field as per your requirement.

Also you can setup folder level tracking and move all your old emails into the tracked folder in outlook.

Thank you! For some reason I could not change the "Process from" date to a date prior to the commencement (which was about 1 month ago). But I was able to implement the folder level tracking which did the trick. One more 'important' question: are these emails mapped to Dynamics or are they copied? I.e. what happens when a user leaves and we remove their account, are all the emails lost?
