When I create a sync filter to automatically sync specific contacts (that apply to that filter) to Outlook is it possible to automatically sync them into a contacts list in Outlook? And is there a way in Outlook (desktop as well as browser) to see that this particular contact comes from CRM. I couldn't find anything concerning those matters.
Any help or ideas would be great! Thanks in advance!
Hi LauH,
Contacts can be automatically copied from CRM to Outlook through a synchronization process, then CRM contacts will appear in the Outlook contact list along with the original Outlook contacts.
Choose the records to synchronize between customer engagement apps and Exchange - Power Platform | Microsoft Docs
Or you can refer following link for more details:

Hi Leah Ju,
Thank you for your answer, but the CRM contacts appearing in the Outlook contact list along with the original Outlook contacts is what we don't want because then you simply can't determine whether the contact is an Outlook contact or it's a contact coming from CRM. Or is there any other way to differentiate between those two? The idea was to maybe sync contacts automatically into a specific contact list folder and not into the default list where all the other Outlook contacts are, that way it would be clear that they are contacts from CRM, but I don't think that is possible right?
Regards,
LauH
