Purchase order reapproval policy with an additional field

Hello,

I am currently trying to extend the reapproval policy within the purchase order. I added an additional customer field (e.g. PurchTable.CUSAmount). In the reapproval policy I want to refer to the added field. I am able to select the field in the policy editor but unfortunalty this has no influence to the reapproval process.

What am I missing?

Any help appreciated.

Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian,

Can you tell a bit more what value this field will/should have and how this field is used in the approval? Must be empty or same as.... ?

Can you perhaps clearify with a printscreen?

    Hi Andre,

thanks for your response. Here is the screenshot of the corresponding policy:

The field is an real field. The system should not start an auto re-approval if the value in this field is changed.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Sebastian,

I understand now what you did. I was more thinking in the approval workflow itself. Unfortunately I cannot help you at this moment. I'm not familiar with customizing this part. I guess there is separate logic for displaying the new field and actually checking on it.

Does anyone else have this experience?
