Inventory/PO Return not showing available stock (RETURNS TRANSACTION ENTRY)

Having an issue with Inventory / PO Returns from the Returns Transaction Entry.  

When processing an inventory or PO return, items are not showing in receipt number field. 

When reviewing in Item stock enquiry, it shows the receipts have been processed and the items are in the site and available.

However then when processing them they are not showing in the site or receipt.

    I think in your case it is all going to depend on where it is in the inventory cycle. It it showing in On Hand, but how did it get to On Hand?

    Return is used when the goods have been received but not invoiced yet and no credit from the vendor.

    Return with Credit is when the items have been received and matched to the vendor's invoice, but not sold.

    Inventory is used when the goods have been received from inventory transactions (adjustment, variance, sales order processing return) and no credit from the vendor.

    Inventory with credit is same as inventory but you are also getting credit from the vendor.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Its cycle was as below:

    - Purchase order placed

    - goods receipted into main site

    - goods fail QC check

    - goods moved to alternative site, pending Inventory return. In this case with credit.

    The process works well with most items, its just every now and then the items that are showing on hand, don't show up in the receipt field. Hoping there was a work around for this.
