Just obtained a customer that is running GP ver 5g10 (btrieve) and we want to begin upgrading them into this century! The upgrade path I am looking at following is GP5 to GP6 then GP6 to GP7.5(pervasive) then GP7.5(pervasive) to GP7.5 (msde\msql). Then GP7.5 to GP9. Then from GP9 to GP2010. This customer has never lapsed on enhancement fees. My dilema is neither our firm or the customer has any of the Installation CD's. Logged a problem with Microsoft and they state that they no longer have that media. They only have what is available on Partnersource for download.
What I a looking for is if there is anyone out there that has a GP6 Install CD, a GP7.5 Install CD and a GP9 install CD. I was able to get the last service pack for GP9 from partnesource. I also believe I will need a install CD for Pervassive 2000 to update the GP5 Btrieve. Lastly, and this one seems to be the most difficult, there was a 'Migration Utility Tool' available for converting Pervassive databases into SQL database for GP7.5. I remember that it was not on the install CD but a download at one time. Thank you Doug.
