Missing fields

Hi all,

Whenever I create a System view in the Lead section, the fields'Company name' is always missing as a column to display.

If I create a Personal view, the fields then does show as a column to display.

What could cause this?

Screen shot is of creating a system view:

Many thanks

David

    Hi David,

The fields shown in the dialog are determined by what fields are already set as columns on the Lead's View. Is this the case? If so, it's likely that your Leads Advanced Find View doesn't have Company Name as a column on the View when defined in Solutions, and that's why you could be seeing it as a field to select when you create Personal Views.

    Aaron.

The fields shown in the dialogue are determined by what fields are already set as columns on the Lead's View. Is this the case? ---------------- That's what confuses me most you see.    The 'Company name' field does show on the Lead view, but so do other fields that then DO show as a selectable column.  It it literally only the 'Company name' field that will not show, but only when specifically creating a 'System view'.

I cannot see what the pattern is.

This seems to be strange behaviour, could you post screenshots of the View configuration?

    Hi David,

    Check this link:

    It is a bug.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

Thanks for this reply.  It seems obvious but I never tried creating a view from scratch.  I used a template that I had which must have an error contained in it.  It simply refused to show the 'Company name'.

But creating a view from scratch, under the exact same conditions otherwise, worked.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Please Note: If the column name 'Company Name' is already added to the list of columns of the current view, you will not be able to view it in the above mentioned list.

To verify, you may manually check the list of column names listed in the current view.

    Regards,

    Kiran Deshmukh
