Auto response? But cannot find where it's set

Hi Everyone

Please excuse my lack of knowledge, but i've recently took on a customer who has an issue, possibly with dynamics 365.

So when a customer emails the particular email address, they receive an automatic reply. But this auto reply isn't set in outlook. Every email is tagged as "dynamics 365" which makes me think it's set there. Where would I be able to find where this has been set? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Have you checked if there is any queue available which accepts email using that email id.

There are possibilities that there is one support queue which will be using this email address and you may have automatic record creation setup and auto response is setup like this.

    powerobjects.com/.../

Or you can also look for the Workflow, there may be workflow who is sending this auto emails.

Feel free to share more details if any

    Hi!

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I've checked automatic record creation, and there is only 1 rule in there which is inactive.

I've also tried to check workflow, but it says there are no flows set up, although I may not be doing this correctly either.

    Thank you

    Hi,

What about public queue do you see any queue using this email ? Also did you check if there is any Power Automate (Flow) setup for your organization, maybe there is flow for sending this email.

What is the use case here - what happens when email is sent to this email id ?

Lots of places you can look:

    Plugins, workflows, flows.

Get it to send you one, then go look at your system jobs - background processes will be here, check for an email send.

If you find the email record in Advanced Find, you might be able to back track it that way - created on date/time - then find the job history (worth a shot).
