Delete Import Jobs stuck on "Submitted" Status

Several times in testing imports over the last few months, some imports have never gotten out of the "Submitted" stage.

This thread is not really about troubleshooting that.  I still don't know how by the way.

I have noticed though that if you start an import through the Import "wizard" once you get to a certain step, even if you hit Cancel it still for some reason adds some import steps with a status of Submitted and they never get run.

Being a little OCD maybe, I'd like to delete those jobs but don't know if there is a way.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi crham,

You can go Settings >Data Management > Imports, select and delete:

And you can go Settings > System jobs to delete jobs about imports:

Thank you for replying.  The key issue however is deleting UNFINISHED import jobs that are stuck in the "submitted" stage.

You cannot delete them from the Import Data page because you get an error.

You cannot FIND them from the System Jobs page I guess because they technically have not started.

    Hi crham,

Based on you description--You cannot delete them from the Import Data page because you get an error.

    could you share the error?

It says you are not allowed to delete an import job that is not completed.  It will never get completed because it has somehow gotten lost in the never-never land of submitted jobs.
