
Hi,
I have a record creation and update rule in order to create cases from emails. I noticed that new emails related to the case such as replies are updating some fields in the regarding case.
I read here documentation and it says that "To enable the rule to update records, you must add an Update step to the rule. Only the entity that you select in the Update step is updated based on the properties you set."
I don't want any update to my cases, I configured in the update the email in order to set the regarding:
But, new emails related with the case are performing the updates I set in the "Create" action of my rule on the existing case. I was expecting that the "Create" action only performed once, at creation time.
Any ideas of what could be doing wrong?

Seems that rule is executing over already created cases. I saw the corresponding System Job record due an error and I discovered that it is always updating the case with every new email related to the case:
