How to add a background color in option set values

I try when i add option value then i use color code but it not working .

    I agree with Leah Ju answer.

    However, Please cautious about the search, when you use fancy color, smilies(faces) etc in the option set values, it gives issues at the time of filtering the data.

    There is one more easy way to add background color in classic mode of D365,

    1. Go to Advanced settings and open your solution and go to entity and option set

    2. Open the Option Set (from the Classic Solution Designer).

    3. Within your Option set, click on one Option. Update the value in the Color field (highlighted below).

    You can try to use the following PCF controls:

    1.Show Colorful optionset in the form

    Colorful Optionset

    A control to replace optionsets reflecting the color provided during the customization.

    Colorful Optionset | PCF Gallery

    2.Show Colorful optionset in the grid

    Colorful Optionset Grid

    A control to show the Option Sets with the colors customized using the standard experience inside a grid.
