Copilot for Sales : '' Prepare for Sales Meetings '' prompt Error

Hello everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with the "Prepare for sales appointment" prompt in Copilot. Each time I try to use it, I receive the message:

"I am not able to answer this at the moment. Please try again later."

 

Here’s what I’ve already checked and confirmed:

✅ Copilot is correctly configured in Dynamics 365

✅ User permissions are in place

✅ Mailbox and calendar sync is successful (including appointments)
✅Preview features are enabled ("Try our newest preview features before they’re rolled out to everyone.")
✅ Tested with different meetings
✅ Dynamics 365 is updated to the latest version
 

Despite going through all of the above steps and spending several hours troubleshooting, I haven’t been able to resolve the issue.

 

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Are the participants in these appointments added to your CRM as contacts, and are those contacts related to an Opportunity (or to an Account linked to the Opportunity). From what I've seen, Copilot only considers an appointment to be a sales meeting if it can link a participant to an Opportunity record. If it can't find that link, then it won't pick it up or recognize the meeting as being related to sales.
