What does this means when I selected Suggest Lines, but Bank Reconciliation in Navision 2018 doesn't not fill up?

Hi Community,

I'm trying to bank recon the month of Jan, when I selected the filter dates. There were no bank statements coming out on the left.

So I tried another way by selecting Suggest Lines, that also doesn't shows anything.

a) May I ask what is most likely to be the reason?

b) How can I check to confirm that I have yet to reconcile the Month of Jan?

Thank you!

It is searching for open entries. If none are found it returns nothing.

Go to the bank account ledger entries page. Set filters on the date and open = yes. You can filter in the reconciliation page too but only for the posting date. Or go to the bank account card and find the page action for statements. Shows all posted bank account reconciliations. You may find one for Jan

    Josh,

When you click Suggest Lines and enter your filters, if no Ledger Entries are Open you can double check by opening the Bank Ledger entries and filter on Open = YES and the Date Range you used. Make sure the Starting Date goes bank to the oldest Outstanding Check and Ending Date = Bank Statement Ending Date.

Josh if you do have entries, then as Josh noted below, you should check to see if you have a Statement processed.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
