I am familiar with using difference instances of GP shortcuts which include different Dynamics.Set at the end of the file path, but I am interested to know the following:
1. Can the launch file be changed while the application is running?
2. Can Dynamics.Set launch files be mapped with MEM to change based on the current selection of the user entity?

Thanks for the reply Victoria, I use your table lists all the time. I think you are right. We use MEM from Binary Stream which apparently used to control which reports were printed based on the entity assigned to the document but no longer does. I'm trying to track down how MEM did it in order to fix it. I noticed that we have a group of .SET files and thought they must use that, now I'm thinking that was a separate solution. I'm finding there is always another layer of complexity to unpeel when it comes to ERPs (especially when third parties are involved).
Ryan,
The Dynamics.set file is only used at startup to determine what products to load for the Dynamics GP session. Changing the file while GP is already running will not cause any changes to the products, since they have already been launched. Changes will only apply the next time the GP application is launched using the modified Dynamics.set file.
