Why remaining Quantity remains 0 in Item ledger entries ?

Posted on by 4,353
Dear Community,

I'm curious about this.

I'm looking at a particular item in my inventory in Navision 2018, I see that we have made a purchase of 132,180, and consume/sold quite an amount after that..

But why is the Remaining Quantity still remains 0 in the item ledger entries? Thank you

Is it possible that it has been reserved, or transferred to other location by Transfer Order/Item Reclass.?
For example, in the example below, it has been used so the Remaining Quantity is still 0 after purchase.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.

it is possible that your page is filtered, and the page is not showing the whole history or full columns of item ledger entry
you could go to item card, drill into qty on hand, add up the remaining qty and you'll get the correct number.

    Hi
You can go to the Item Application Worksheet  page, verify what other possible operations the purchase has been apply with.
    best regards
