Credit card settlement report

ReportReport
Posted on by 75

Hello, I'm curious if anyone know show to create a credit card settlement report?  Not the tender reports or the crystal register report, but to recall and print the data shown when settling the daily credit card batch.  And if anyone knows how to set up for auto settle that would be very helpful.  Thanks!

    Manager program:

Reports -> Miscellanous -> Electronic Draft Capture Detailed

It might need to be run from a POS station and not a back office computer.

It's idiotic that one would have to go to a POS station for an EDC report. We're less than a week into our RMS system and have a lot to learn yet. I don't know if there's a way to enable that report from a non-POS computer (other than paying another POS license), it's seems a no-brainer that it should be available to a bookkeeper on a back office computer. But that menu item is definitely missing on our office computer. (I'm checking with our consultant/installer group.)

Our consultant said last week that there is no way to auto-settle. That seems dumb too.

A couple of things for Microsoft to add to RMS soon, I hope.

There is work-around for the "no report" problem for the office computer.

Go to the Admin program, go to Configure (first drop down menu) and enter in your credit card processing info (fill in all the tabs). Once that's in, restart your computer and the EDC report should show up in Manager for that computer.

When you copy down the processing info from a POS station, make sure to change the terminal number to an unused number and one you' ll never be likely to add in the future.

Just make sure not to try to run any CC transactions on that computer!

It's stupid to have to do this, but at least it works.
