Some cases can not merge

Hi Guys, 

I'm using D365 customer engagement on-premise. The same user, some cases can merge together, some case can not merge and error as below. "You do not have enough privileges to access...."

I checked log on the crm server and get the below info: 

Exception information:

    Exception type: CrmException

    Exception message: SecLib::AccessCheckEx failed. Returned hr = -2147187962, ObjectID: 39ac748a-6fe1-e811-80f8-005056bd7037, OwnerId: 235dbdb5-23f1-e711-80e2-005056bd7037,  OwnerIdType: 8 and CallingUser: 3fcd8fd6-1cf1-e711-80e2-005056bd7037. Any suggestion me to fix this.

    Hi VanDo,

    Based on the error message, the user does not have write permission on the notes entity. Check security role of the user anmd see if the write permissions is granted for Note entity under "Core Records" tab.

    Hope this helps.

    The error says ObjectTypeCode: 5 which is Annotation [Display Name = Note].

    As suggested above please check whether user security role have sufficient access of Notes entity.
