Hello everyone,
I'm trying to reference the contact GUID when using a custom trigger (free text) and then mapping fields to contact attributes from within a Journey. In talking with MSFT the GUID isn't present by design:
Is anyone aware of a way to do this?

You don't need to create a custom field and map the GUID (Contact ID) in the Journey.
The Custom trigger delivers a dynamic parameter called ActionInputs msdynmkt_profileid, which is the Contact's GUID.
