We just attempted the code upgrade for Release 2 for GP ver 10 (10.00.1634 to 10.00.1701) and during the Company Updating section in Dynamic Utlilities, the process "hung" while installing the update on the server (which runs SQL2005). After rebooting the server and running the utilities again, everything has updated correctly as far as Dynamics is concerned (now at 10.00.1701) and our primary company has also been updated and runs just fine. However, a second company that we have installed as a test company did not upgrade completely and when attempting to complete the update in Utilities, you get the message " Company is being updated by another client:". Also, when trying to open the company from within Great Plains, you get a "database version incompatability" dialog box. The research we have done indicates that this is likely a SQL table problem that resulted from the hung process during the initial update. Can anyone provide assistance with the best approach to getting the second company to finish its upgrade? Thanks in advance!
