Opportunity close - desciption field REQUIRED?

Hi all,

My management really want to make the field "Description" on the Opportunity Close entity required, since too many of our sales guys don't fill this important information. I cannot seem to change anything, since it is managed?

Is there a workaround?

    Hi,

    create a custom workflow/plugin, trigger on status change, if description is not fill, throw meaningful error to user.

    I cannot choose the entity "Opportunity Close" at all. Not even when making workflows. And when I try to modify anything it says "Cant due to managed properties". And it wont let me change those properties either..

    Ya, i know the opportunity close is not able to edit.

    Custom workflow  = you have to write the code and associated with the oob workflow

    Do you know how to write a plugin or custom workflow?
