ReportReport

GUYS, PLEASE, I NEED YOUR HELP URGENTLY.

I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A REPORT THAT SHOW TO ME ITEMS THAT HAVE AGED IN A STORE. I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE TO GENERATE SUCH REPORT BUT IT SEEMED RMS DOESN'T SUPPORT THAT PART.

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME WITH THIS OR GIVE ME A BETTER CLUE ON HOW TO MAKE RMS GENERATE SUCH REPORT FOR AN AGEING ITEM/ITEMS?

THANKS

    Benjamin,

    Run the detailed sales report and when you set the Filter select "Last sold" from the column on the left. Then in the Range (right side) select the date range.

    Not that the date range will show you all the items that were last sold during that time. so if you want to see all the items that have not sold in the last 6 months, set the date range from the day you opened to 6 months ago.

    Any items sold in the last 6 months will not be in the results because their "Last Sold" date will be greater than 6 months ago.

    Hope this makes sense it's kind of backwards but it works.

  • RE: AGEING OF ITEMS IN STORE

    You can try this as a STORE OPERATIONS custom report - in SO the LAST RECEIVED field in the inventory tab gets updated on PO receipts.

    Make a copy of the Item Quantity List report - name it something like Custom - On Hand Aging Report.qrp or something like that.

    Set the sort order line to

    SortOrder = "Item.LastReceived ASC"

    Add this as a column

    Begin Column

      FieldName = "Item.LastReceived"

      DrillDownFieldName = ""

      DrillDownReportName = ""

      Title = "Last Received"

      VBDataType = vbDate

      Formula = ""

      ColHidden = False

      ColNotDisplayable = False

      FilterDisabled = False

      ColWidth = 990

      GroupMethod = groupmethodNone

      ColFormat = ""

    End Column

    See if this start gets you started in the right direction with what you are looking for.

    Have you received multiple shipments of any of the same items, or are these all single shipments?

    @Doktord: Thank you for replying. By aged, I mean the duration of time of an item in a store. How long has the item been at the store. I have items that have stayed up to three to four months and loads of items have stayed longer than the months I just mentioned. So I will love to have a report that can show me items that have stayed long enough in the store. Any help?

    When you say items that have "aged", what do you mean?
