Need eConnect Schema to update note and comment

Hello everyone,

   I want to update order note (i.e SY03900.txtfield) and comment ( i.e. SOP10106.CMMTTEXT) on the form sales transaction entry window , but by using eCoonect.

Please tell me the which schema I use to update those fields.

    Hi,

    There is no specific Schema for Note Field but in each Schema there will be Field Mapping provided by the name "NOTETEXT".

    So for any type of Transaction, you can map this field upto 8000 Characters.

    So If I need to update those fields I must have to use SQL update query. Right?

    No need for SQL Query for Note Field alone.

    When you are passing the values to any of the eConnect Schema's Fields, you need to pass the value for NOTETEXT also.

    Ex: If you are using this Schema "taSopHdrIvcInsert" for SOP with below fields,

    1. SOPTYPE

    2. DOCID

    Etc.,

    along with above fields, pass value for NOTETEXT field also in the same piece of Dot Net code.
