Managed solution Upgrade

Hi,

In the case entity -> status reason there are about 10 options. It has already moved to PROD as a part of managed solution long time back.

Now, I removed the 3 options out of 10, and added to a new unmanaged solution in DEV. Then, I export it as managed solution and imported into PROD.

But the changes have not been there. i.e, all the 10 options are still exists.

I can understand that I have to upgrade the original solution when the options were added. Am I right ?

But I dont know in which of the old solution had this changes since it has been done long back ago.

Now, I need to remove the 3 options. I dont have any clue on this. Can you please suggest me on this.

Thanks,
Anandh

    Hi,

Yes, update the original solution in the DEV environment by removing the three options from the Status Reason field.
Export as a managed solution, then import into the PROD environment and select Upgrade.
In this way the Status Reason field in the PROD environment removes the three options.

In the PROD environment go to the default solution and find the Status Reason field, find the old solution by looking at the solution layer.
