Email text formatting while creating an email via a workflow

I’m simply creating an email via a workflow and the format of the email once generated is not what I have typed . I get double lines instead my standard paragraph. Is there a reason for this or any way to prevent it happening?

    By default when you create an email message, the "Enter" behavior of the keyboard will provide you with a paragraph break (<P>), and if you use the "Shift"+"Enter" behavior of the keyboard it will provide you with the html line break (<BR>).

    If you want to format the email differently, you can use an Html Editor and Paste it into the Workflow. This should provide a little better WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) behavior.
