Excel templates do not support powerpivot

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

It seems that when you add a powerpivot to the existing data you can upload the file you can view the file on dynamics CRM but the data could not be refreshed and the slices aren't working either

This is the message you get when you click on a slicer

"This workbook contains external data connections or BI features that are not supported.

To learn more about Excel Services features, click here."

=> and there is no external data present (two tables used: calendar table and the actual data from dynamics).
