Hi,
This might be a bit tricky question. Could we use Customer Insights to map, match and merge profiles of suppliers instead of customers? With the B2B functionalities (account etc.) I think this could be possible, maybe the considerations are more if it is worth it and how much effort it would require...

You can choose the combinable entities when the map is being set.

Hello, since you are asking about supplier profiles, I thought I would also point you to Dynamics Supply Chain Insights. Right now there is not similar map, match, merge functionality there, but you can get other insights from your suppliers.
Is supplier your target audience and thats what you want to see the contact card with activity timelines, then yes, B2B is what you are probably looking for.
