I have been struggling with this for a few days now and I haven't been able to solve the issue. According to the documentation in the SDK and a few other posts on here I should only need the Microsoft.Dynamics.SL.ObjectModel.dll reference and I'm targeting the 3.5 framework along with compiling as x86, but I simply cannot get the project to build with any combination of reference files.
I attempted to build a project from the VB template but I encountered the same "The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)" error in VB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solved the main issue. I needed to install SL in my dev environment.
When I run the exe on the box with SL installed it makes it a step further and errors on soething else. Is there a specific aspect of the SL install I can run to test my project on my local box so that I can run the program through the debugger instead of creating a new build and copying it over for each test?
