Alert on Opportunity Form Open: Request API Version '9.1.0'is not available

Hello,

Starting a few weeks ago, we started seeing this error appear on our Dynamics 365 CRM installation EVERY time we open the Opportunities form:

api-v9.1.0.png

This happens during the form onload. Appears to be at end of form rendering.

We have not made any changes to our Opportunities form for awhile, so my hypothesis is that it is being cause by the Account Insights plug-in.

Has anyone else seen this error or have any suggestions on how to resolve/remove it?

Thank you

    Hi bdaz,

Is there any custom JavaScript on the opportunity form? This looks like a JavaScript error message.

Press F12 browser developer toolbar & see the source file of this error in console.

May be when composing the web api uri, dynamically getting the version went wrong.

If you can confirm the source of this buggy code, you can fix if it’s your code or can reach out to respective support team for fix.

    Hi Everyone -

Yes, I also suspected it was a JavaScript error, but was having a difficult time diagnosing what was causing it, as there is no custom script on the form.

I've solved the issue by removing MSFT add-ins one-by-one and ultimately it was the InsideView plugin that was causing the issue, so I simply removed that pane from the opportunity form (we weren't really using it anyway).

That being said, can anyone provide some direction on best practices/approaches to ensuring the installed AppSource plug-ins are kept up to date as Dynamics CRM evolves/upgrades? This obviously doesn't happen automatically.

    Bill
