Hi,
I created a sale order for an item with Qty 5 nos.
While creating the picking list, the qty is changed from 5 nos to 15 nos.
how the qty gets changed , please advise
Hi Sriram,
Can you please check if there are any unit of conversions applied to the item. If inventory unit is changed from sales unit. This can be the reason for a changed quantity during pick list.
Warm Regards,
Zain.
there is no unit conversion
while checking in the delivery remainder, there are 2 data shown
Delivery remainder : 5 Nos and
Inventory : 15 Nos.
based on the above , the picking list is raised for 15 nos.
could not able to find where the 10nos is getting added
It may be that someone change the quantity, you can try to use database log to record the change
HI, Where we can check the log
Need to enable the database log feature first, then the later change can be recorded. For previous change can not be recorded.
Please have a look at Lachlan's blog: organicax.com/.../
In your case, need to enable the certain fields such as createdby, modifiedby, remainsalesphysical, remaininventphysical etc. in the"order lines" table from all table section.
We don't have the database log enabled.
i think enabling log would help in future tracking
Refer below the screen and advise
Hi Sriam,
1.Enable the certain fields such as createdby, modifiedby, remainsalesphysical, remaininventphysical etc. in the"order lines" table from all table section
2.Change the remaining delivery quantity:
3.Check the log:
Dear Mattguo,
thanks for the detail process flow for the Log setting procedure.
May be configuring the database log will help to track the changes from now on.
I also have same issue in another Sale Order. Both Sale Order are Inter company orders.
Refer below the issue
Sale Order # 1
Sale Order Qty : 5 Nos
Picking List Qty : 15 Nos
Sale Order # 2
Sale order Qty : 10 Nos
Picking List Qty : 20 Nos
Now we can manually change the qty and do the posting. But how the change occurs or from where the qty is been added is to be known to fix this
