Very actual problem (workflows & security roles)

Hi, I face such problem, please advise how to solve it:

I have  USER A and USER B. For the  USER A defined such roles, which do not allow to see or edit USER B's actions (e.g. tasks). Now in the system I have a workflow which from the Opportunity ( owner is USER A) automatically creats a task for the USER B (task's owner is USER B), but in this case USER A can see and edit this task, although he should not be able to.

 Thank you in advance

In the system I have a system administrator's privileges and I trigger workflow from the USER A account.

Ok. Let me try to explain this out. You are the owner of the workflow. Now though other user B creates a opportunity record which triggers this workflow, the task will be visible to you as it was created in your context. To avoid this, use some other system administrator account as owner of the workflow, and inside the workflow add a step which will set the owner of the task to the user who created the opportunity record.

I use mine as owner of workflow. I did not understand what you mean by saying common (nonuser) account (say service account).

What user are you using as owner of workflow? And Yes, the workflow will execute for every record in organization.

Hi Mandar, can you clarify your post. Do you mean by selecting Organization as the scope, the workflow will execute on any record in the organization secondary to the user’s security rights?

I've selected Organization as the scop in the workflow, but it doesn't help me.

    Thanks.

This the default behavior of CRM. It creates a record in context of the user who is the owner of the work flow. The work around that can help you is to trigger all the work flows from a common (nonuser) account (say service account) and in the work flow set the appropriate owner for the task.
