Hi, so i have created a custom view and have applied a "group by this column" selection (see below) and saved the view. The issue is when i go out and back into this view it looses the grouping. Is there a way to make this hold ? TIA

If this is not a full screen form then I think Saved Views are not supported.

You will see the option to save view and can save it but it's not applicable. Even if you set it as default view, when you open the form/dialog, the view will show as your custom view but with all standard content. That's what I have observed in 2 dialog forms.

Hi, I have tried Group by on Customer Group field in All customers form, saved the view and made it default view. And its working whenever I open the Customers form.

Please check if this is working for you then provide your form and field name. Would be interested if this feature does not work on some forms.

If its not working on customer form then probably some feature is disabled in your environment.

    Hi phaeton656,

    Moved to Finance forum.

If you want to save those changes, follow these steps.

    1. Select the view name to open the view selector.

    2. To modify the existing view, select Save. Note that this action isn't available for locked views.

    3. To create a new view:

      1. Select Save as.
      2. In the Save view as pane, enter a name and, optionally, a description for the view.
      3. If you want this view to be your default view, select Pin as default. For more information about default views see the Changing the default view section that follows.
      4. If the Improved legal entity support for saved views feature is turned on, you can select whether you want this view to be available for all legal entities or just a subset of them.
      5. Select Save
