Split Purchase line into two

Hi All,
 
     I need Split Purchase Line Into two line , if user Click the action(Split Line) that line Split into two line , Quantity Also update both line  Off Off Like If User Enter 800  in Original Line & Click action, Line Should Be split Into two line and also Quantity Update 400 for each line , how to do ?  Kindly Help Me ..

    This function isn't available out of the box on purchase orders. Some advanced warehousing documents include a split line action, but it functions differently, doesn't apply to purchase orders, and doesn’t split the line equally. If you need this function, you'll need to customize the system to do it.

    I have done similar customization before.
    You need to pay attention to factors such as Line No., Quantity Shipped, etc. In addition, if the Drop Shipment or Special Order function is used, you need to consider whether the Sales Order should also be split.
