Getting 80040217 error while updating data into a custom entity

I am getting the error with code 80040217 when I try to update an existing record of a custom entity using the data import tool.

Description of error : The specified record cannot be found. The data for this record might have been incorrectly entered. Verify the ID of the reord you want to import.

I tried a single record update on just one pure text column like the title, but I still get the same error and the record also exists in the application.

Can anyone please provide a soultion for this.

Does this issue still persist in CRM?

If yes, Are you using CRM online or CRM On-Premise ?

What is current roll-up installed on CRM?

Does this happens with one or multiple users?
