Unable to add Privilege on SubArea

Posted on by 35

I am trying to show/hide SubArea in Menu Bar based on Security role using Privilege. I have been successful with most of the SubArea but there are couple of SubArea like 'Plug-ins Trace Logs' and 'Systems Jobs' under Customization and System Area which doesn't give option to add 'Privilege'.  On clicking the SubArea, within Properties section it shows this error message 'You can't edit this component because it references an entity that isn't supported in Site Map Designer'.

Any suggestion how i can add 'Privilege' on these Sub Area so that i can show/hide ??

Thanks

Sanjeev

As far as I know there is no supported way to add privileges of those component. Those navigation are manage by system administrator role and you can not add privileges.
