Net weight on sales documents

Posted on by 249
Hi! We have a new customer that demands net weight on the invoice. Is this supported by standard reports? I can see that I can get the net weight from the sales line, but not multiplicated with the quantity?
I know all our European suppliers also has Total net weight printed on their documents. Is that possible too?  By this I mean all net weight from the lines added together to a total.

Yun Zhu is correct, you will need to get a developer to add this field to any report.

This is also a standard field in the W1 version and can be displayed on the page through Personalization.
However, adding it to the report requires customization.

I'm running BC in US localization, and it has net weight fields to add to sales order. I believe this could be set up on item card. User needs to be consistent in choosing the uom for this field which doesn't indicate whether it refers to kilo, pound etc.

    Hi,

I am not sure about European version, but Net weight is not part of US localization.

But it will be easy to add in reports with report extension. You can be multiple with quantity in the report for printing purpose.
