security access for editing system entity and custom entity

Hi,

I have created a security role which has access to customize solutions and entities objects. But user with this role is not able to edit entity and get the following error.

"
Insufficient Permissions
You do not have permission to access these records. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics 365 administrator for help.

"

    I followed the same steps and created new security role and it is working as expected.

    Hi Venkatesh,

    It is a privilege issue, maybe some privileges you not set in this security role.

    As you mentioned above, the security role can access to customize solutions and entities objects, which is similar System Administrator and System Customizer security role.

    You can copy the existing security role and save it with a new name, then modify the privileges and access levels to accommodate the new security role, which can save time and avoid unnecessary error.

    1.Go Settings > Security > Security role.

    2.In the list of security roles, under Name, select the security role you want to copy, and then on the Actions toolbar, select More Actions > Copy Role.

    3.In the Copy Security Role dialog box, in the New Role Name text box, type in the name for the new security role.

    4.Remove or modify privilege of the new security role.

    5.Assign the new security role to the user that you want to test.
