    Hello,

You can use XrmToolbox and Portal Records Mover plugin - www.xrmtoolbox.com/Plugins.html

    Hello Chandi

XRM tool box portal record mover tool will help you to move records from one instance to other , but be careful while migrating records if you have two portals in same instance (sometime While exporting data using filters and import it you may get duplicate records),

As a second option you can Use SDK Data Migration tool as well ( Here you need to know in which entity order you have to import data )

    Thanks

    James

i've tried to move the data using xrmtoolbox but i'm getting the below issue when the tool is creating the webpages

Create (Web Page/181203b2-677e-e711-818d-f0921c124e44): Value of Partial URL field of the Home Page of your website can only be /. Any other value will lead to issues in your Portal.

    Hi all,

I was just struggling with the Portal Records Mover plugin from XRMToolBox and kept getting the references errors "/.":

"Value of Partial URL field of the Home Page of your website can only be /. Any other value will lead to issues in your Portal."

The way I circumvented it was that I exported and imported first the root (Info) web-pages and then the content (localized) web-pages... no errors with this approach!!!

One more thing to note is that upon the Info (root) Web Pages importing, a default Content (localized English or so) Web Page is created apparently automatically by the Import tool or by CRM Portals itself, which I opted to remove. It can be recognized easily because it has the exact same name as the root imported webpage and shows localized English or so. Easiest is to remove it right after importing the root (Info) page, so if you import Content Pages with same exact name then you don't get confused...

My way was actually giving the Contact pages a suffix in the name as well EN or FR, so it can be easily recognizable.

    Hope that helps!

All thanks and virtual cookies are welcome and well received!

    Thanks guys and Happy CRM-ing!!!
