Issue when trying to merge an account

Hi,

I need some help regarding merging an account on Dynamics CRM.

I'm keep getting a SQL Server timeout only when I tried to merge this one account whereas other account does not have the similar problem. I'm using an on premise version of CRM.

I've did noticed that everytime I've tried to merge this one account, I see multiple warning generated on the event viewer with some sql query inside which it seems not related to the account that I've tried to merge.

Maybe some expert advice would help as I'm still new to this Dynamics CRM.

Thanks.

    Hi Prashant,

    thanks for your reply.

I've gone through the article and tried the SQL Profiler.

From there, I could see multiple lines of captured transaction happen pointed to CRM.

Any specific item that I should looked at which can pinpoint me to the right direction.

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply.

I think this is maybe an issue. The corporate account that I've tried to merge is having 99+ child account which all is a valid sub-company account that belong to this parent.

If this is the case, any work around to merge the duplicate. I'm thinking of deactivate the duplicate account if the master account is having all the information needed by the account owner.

    regards
