Can we try-out and learn about Export to Data Lake with OneBox environment ?

hi guys,

I have a DevBox for D365 F&O, from a downloadable VHD. Question is can we use this to learn and try-out the Export to Data Lake feature ? If we have purchase Data Lake Storage.

Appreciate for some guidance.

Hi Voltes,

When you go to the documentation, there is a statement about which environments are supported. For a Tier-1 environment, there is an additional workaround by using some FastTrack tools. See Microsoft Learn: Export to Azure Data Lake overview - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

Hi,
By querying related articles, it is found that the export to data lake function is not available in tier- 1 (developer) environment, you need a sandbox environment (tier 2 or higher).

Hi Andre,

Thanks so much for the GitHub recommendation. I will surely try it out. Before that may I know if you know some blogs or videos for clearer example of the process ? Sometime if not the most of the time, this is easier for me to understand, to just follow the steps first then try to understand what happened and why later.
