Hi,

We are facing issue with error 

The selected address on the line is no longer effective. To update the address to the active one, you must re-select the address on the document.

But when we are trying to update the address it not editable. Kindly note that the PO which we are trying to update are already partially invoiced.

For example if a PO having 100 items and 50 are partially invoiced to an address and remaining 50 are available and they need to be invoiced again to different address

Where customer had changed their address. Now while changing the address it is not editable.

Is there any option to get rid of this. Kindly let me know.

    Hi Vicky,

    Where you are trying to change the invoice address?  Is't in the PO or PO> Invoice form?

    Do share some more additional information.

    Hi Ashok,

    Go to Accounts Payable

    Open any previous Purchase order (which were there before the address got effective)

    Try to recreate one line.

    And then click on the past line in the same Purchase order.

    And try to change address for the past line.

    Hello vicky,

    I found a couple of hotfixes on LCS that seem to be related to this error message.

    The issue is that those fixes mainly relate to D365FO systems.

    Are you operating D365FO?

    If this is the case, can you check the following site (requires login) whether some of the hotfixes apply?

    We are in 10.0.8 version i think the bug had been fixed. Can you please suggest.

    Hello vicky,

    You are right. For 10.0.8 there is nothing listed on LCS.

    Yet, as there are many related issue, I suspect that you issue might be related a a bug that has probably not been reported and fixed.

    Can you thus open a new support case with MS and let them have a look at your machine and this problem?
