Report for COGS and Sales

Hi All,

Is there any out of the box (standard) report available in D 365 Finance to verify the Purchase price, COGS, and sales possibly help us arrive at the margin. this is for India localisation.

I referred few blogs were there was a mention of Gross margin by item, applicable but it says only to US and Canada.

please check this path Sales and marketing > Inquiries and reports > Sales order reports > Sales order lines to see if it can help you.

Hi Karunakaran,

It will be difficult to check a report both for Inventory transaction & Revenue. There is the inventory value report which can show you the COGS & purchase price but sales price would not be there. Also, you can check the Sales shipment analysis report from Chinese localization.

Hi Karunakaran ,

The standard report that shows you the sales, cogs and gross profit is called 'sales analysis by invoice'.

You can find this report in the sales and marketing module under the section 'sales statistics'.
