Econnect Batch posts two journal entries instead of one

We have just begun migration of one of our external company's financials into GP so they are consolidated on one system. All data tested good in our test environment and we are beginning to set up and load trials into production. We have loaded 2007 balances and they rolled forwarded with no issues. The problem we are encountering now is duplicate posting data after the 2008 batch (through econnect) was posted only one time in GP. We have confirmed that there are no duplicates in the original template and that we are only clicking post once. The journal posting report continues to come out as 2 transactions instead of one. Has anyone experienced this problem?
