Reprinting Z Reports

I am having problems trying to reprint a z report. I go to blind closeout and print my z report there. But if some reason I need to reprint, when I open the patch and page down to where the z report is, it is in a different format and very abbreviated. It used to work fine in the past but something has changed. I would appreciate your help.

    Blind closeout is intended to be used as temporarily closing the batch so that a new one can be started as in the case of a cashier that leaves the register and takes the drawer into the back room to count and finish the closing procedure.  To complete the z report, open SO Manager and select Journal - Update batch info, then run without any criteria to show all open and blind closed batches.  Double click on the batch number to change open/close amounts, and print x or z report.

    The problem is when I need to reprint the z report that is always at the end of the days batch. It does not match the original Z report.

    suggestions:

    1. don't use blind close

    2. compare receipt formats in so manager - database-registers-receipt formats

    3. make sure to jornal the format you want to save

    You can get all the Z report information form the Crystal report, 'Regeister Analysis Report" too.

    Maybe I have an idea. Once upon a time my batches ended with the Z report, now they end with a blind closeout report. Is this something that might of been changed with an update? How can I get the Z report back on the end of my batches?

    Go back and re-read Matt's original answer. It sounds like those batches were ONLY blind closes and still need to be closed with a Z report as Matt explained.

    I do as Matt states. I do a blind close and then at the journal print the z. All I know is that my batches always ended with the z report. Now the end with a "Blind Close Out" report. When you look at the end of your batches whats listed? Thanks for your help.
