Change the date on approved customer payment journal

Hello, 
 
How do i change the date on an approved bankcard transaction in the customer payment journal?  this was a refund that was processed via the /reverse cc payment/ on the customer account, which automatically picked the original payment date to reverse. However, original payment date is in a closed fiscal period.

    Can you check if you have workflow assosiated to it? ideally the date is locked either when the payment status is changed to sent, or in review of Workflow or some customization involved in it.

    hi Ramit, there is no workflow associated with it. the payment status is approved but i haven't posted it to the customer account.

    Can you change back the payment status to "None" and check if you can change the date and then again chain back to approved.

    If there is no workflow associated with it, maybe you need to check if you are part of approval group if it is defined on the journal name.

    Sorry! i was able to change the payment status after all, changed the date and status automatically switched to approved again! thank you so much for all the help :)
