Hello all,
I have Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU 9, it's first time use so i have just started to configuring everything from zero. Now it's slowing down since i deployed all reports into Reporting Server and try to print to screen an invoice journal. Some dummy journal i have created tracked in GL > Inquiries > Audit Trail, i think just as precaution i need to configure audit trail and set it so not everything i do transferred there. How can i do this, where's the audit trail configuration? And what else i should do to check what makes AX sudden slow down and makes it works faster again. Thanks.

I have the same question (0)Hi Anisa,
There is no setting related to the General ledger audit trail. When you post transactions, there is a record maintained to be able to show all related posting data by that action together with the date and user. This has never led to performance problems in my implementations.
Performance problems can be related to anything. Not well configured SQL server, no maintenance plan on that server or also insufficient hardware resources. To be able to solve it, you need to monitor the servers with performance counters to find the root cause(s).
